TrustLinq, a Swiss company that provides crypto-to-fiat payment services, has announced an integration with Ripple to expand its payment infrastructure. This update allows the platform to expand its reach for direct crypto-to-fiat transfers to bank accounts in over 170 countries and over 80 currencies.
TrustLinq processes payments from self-custodial wallets and settles them directly as local bank transfers. Users send stablecoins and recipients receive standard fiat money transfers without the need for a cryptocurrency wallet or platform account. This model differs from typical off-ramps, which require an exchange or intermediary.
With this integration, TrustLinq now uses Ripple Payments as part of its backend system. This adds real-time payment options and supports multiple payment rails alongside existing systems such as SEPA, SWIFT, and ACH.
The platform currently supports major stablecoins including USDT, USDC and EURC in ERC-20 and TRC-20.
