SpaceX Wallet lives on a $153 million Bitcoin transfer, the first move since 2022

The Wallet, owned by SpaceX, appears to have moved $150 million worth of BTC for over three years in its first chain activity, according to data from blockchain analytics platform Arkham.

Arkham shows 1,308 BTC transactions that have been moved from the tagged address 15OKQ7…I7JF1G owned by Elon Musk’s Rocket Company to the previously inert wallet, BC1Q8K…Phartf.

The transaction was the first recorded outbound transfer since June 10, 2022, moving 3,505 BTC (worth $102 million at the time) to Coinbase.

The receiving wallet is invalid and no previous movements have been observed.

SpaceX still holds 6,977 BTC, valued at around $815 million, according to Arkham. This will make the company the Bitcoin holder of globally the largest company, behind names such as Strategy (MSTR) and Tesla (TSLA).

It remains unclear whether this latest transfer will fully represent a sale, an internal Treasury reallocation, or anything else.
