KuCoin Pay expands cryptocurrency payment integration in 5 exclusive countries
Expanding the integration of cryptocurrency payments across Argentina, Zambia, Bangladesh, Mexico, and Peru allows KuCoin to enhance the accessibility of Web3 payments for everyday use. Additionally, the platform continues to support automatic conversion of over 50 crypto assets to local fiat currencies. This exclusive expansion follows previous integrations in Switzerland, the Philippines, Vietnam and Brazil.
Expanding localized payment solutions to five new countries allows KuCoin to streamline cryptocurrency spending. That way, consumers won’t have to switch between financial applications in different regions. Currently, KuCoin Pay supports QR code-based payments through major local payment networks in Peru and Argentina. Users can utilize the Scan & Pay feature to send money by scanning a merchant’s QR code directly within the official KuCoin app.
With this in mind, this integration aims to simplify purchases at various retailers, businesses, cafes, and restaurants where QR payments are accepted. For Mexico, Zambia, and Bangladesh, KuCoin Pay has announced regional trading capabilities that connect directly to popular financial rails. Therefore, Mexican consumers can conduct banking transactions through the SPEI payment mechanism. Additionally, users based in Bangladesh can trade capital into Nagad and bKash mobile wallets.
Enhance payment accessibility, security, and speed with localized infrastructure
At the same time, Zambia-based customers will be able to conduct transactions via Airtel and MTN platforms and send through their registered mobile number or bank account. Supported cryptocurrencies include Bitcoin ($BTC), $KCS, $USDC, and $USDT. According to KuCoin, this localized payment framework will improve convenience for international travelers and residents. Overall, with this move, KuCoin strives to continuously improve localization, security, and transfer speeds as the adoption of cryptocurrency payments grows.
