A new documentary is in the works that explores the nuances of Bitcoin’s four-year cycle and traces Bitcoin founder David Bailey. $BTC Inc. and Chairman and CEO of Nakamoto Corporation (NASDAQ: NAKA) — through what filmmaker Parker Worthington describes as one of the film’s most important chapters. $BTC‘s history.

But the scope expanded when Worthington began traveling frequently to shoot with Bailey’s team, first to Puerto Rico, where early discussions about taking the company public (as it was still referred to at the time) were just beginning to surface.
Those early rumblings quickly became the central thread of the film. This was followed by the public offering of nakamoto Inc., which was formed through a reverse merger with KindlyMD and raised approximately $710 million. At the time, it was one of the largest PIPE financings ever involving a digital asset company.
The documentary aims to capture the entire four-year cycle, including the ups and downs of forming a Bitcoin public company, the calm that comes with SEC obligations, and the resilience needed to weather a bear market while executing a multi-company integration strategy.

A release date of winter 2027 is being discussed, but the project could be extended to 2028 depending on developments in the broader crypto market cycle.
The film is expected to be a full-length feature and may be distributed through streaming platforms. Worthington and team expressed interest in packaging it as a standalone work before considering a series format.
