Binance has announced that it will support planned network upgrades on the Moon River Network to protect the user experience. According to an official statement from the exchange, token deposits and withdrawals on the Moon River Network will be temporarily suspended starting May 12, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
According to the information shared by Binance, the network upgrade will take place at a block height of 16,249,119. This update is expected to be completed on May 12, 2026 at approximately 4:00 PM. The exchange states that all technical requirements will be automatically managed by the platform during the upgrade process and users do not need to do anything.
The exchange emphasized that the network upgrade only affects deposit and withdrawal transactions. Trading of tokens on the Moon River Network on Binance Spot and other markets will continue without interruption. During this period, users can manage their existing positions and continue their trading activities on the platform.
Binance also announced that deposits and withdrawals will automatically resume once system stability is restored after the network upgrade. No further announcements will be made. Users are advised to consider this suspension period when planning their trades.
Moonriver is known as one of the smart contract platforms that run on the Kusama ecosystem, enabling rapid integration of Ethereum-compatible decentralized applications, among other things. Future network upgrades are expected to bring several improvements in performance, security, and scalability.
