What is Aster DEX?
Aster is a perpetually decentralized exchange built on. $BNB The chain was founded in early 2025 through the merger of APX Finance and Astherus. Due to the rebranding, the traditional APX ticker will also be ASTER token. CZ’s YZi Labs is also one of the backers.
The platform is designed to enable centralized exchange speed with non-custodial payments. Several features differ from typical Perp DEXs.
- Multi-chain trading without bridges
- Hidden orders reduce MEV (Maximum Extractable Value) exposure by hiding trade size and direction
- A one-click simple mode lets you trade with up to 100x leverage, and a pro mode is also available for advanced users.
- High-yield collateral and tokenized perpetual equity
- Supports 181 symbols across cryptocurrencies, stocks, and commodities
As of April 19, the platform’s lifetime trading volume reached $4.45 trillion. Aster confirmed that it has more than 15 million registered users, up from about 9.5 million in February 2026. The 30-day reported volume for the same period was $60.4 billion, representing nearly 10% of the entire PERP DEX market, which had a cumulative 30-day trading volume of approximately $601.6 billion.
What is $ syrup Why is it important?
Maple Finance was founded in 2021 with a focus on institutional lending in DeFi. Its core product connects verified institutional borrowers with on-chain capital and provides lenders with yield generated from collateralized lending activities.
$ syrup Maple’s governance and value generation token. Holders can stake it as stSYRUP and vote on major decisions of the protocol, such as how profits are distributed across the ecosystem.
How Maple’s lending model works
Maple’s main product is syrup USDC. Users deposit USDC, which is then lent to institutional investors. These loans are oversecured, meaning the borrower must pledge crypto assets worth more than the amount borrowed. This structure reduces risk for lenders while keeping the system transparent and on-chain.
Maple operates on Ethereum and Solana and uses Chainlink oracles for price safety.
$ syrup tokenomics
A portion of protocol revenue, approximately 25% of loan fees, will be used for buybacks. $ syrup Public market tokens. These buybacks reduce circulating supply and build community-controlled treasuries. This model is directly tied to Maple’s financial performance. $ syruplong-term supply dynamics.
What is LUMIA? How does its architecture work?
Lumia is a layer 2 blockchain built to tokenize real-world assets such as real estate, commodities, and bonds. It is built using Polygon’s Chain Development Kit (CDK) and operates as a custom zkEVM chain connected to an AggLayer to share liquidity across the chain.
For cross-chain messaging and data availability, Lumia integrates Avail Stack, a modular infrastructure layer designed for scalability and interoperability. This architecture targets institutional-grade security while keeping payments auditable on-chain.
LUMIA Tokenomics and Governance
of LUMIA token Includes transaction fees, network staking, and governance participation. Lumia also introduced LUMIA Power (LUMIAp), a system where users lock their LUMIA tokens to receive EcoDrops (hand-picked airdrops from new projects launched on the Lumia network). This model is designed to reward long-term holders without creating continued selling pressure due to emissions.
Where does Aster rank among Perp DEX?
in 24 hour normalized baseHyperliquid leads the PERP DEX market with a trading value of $5.084 billion. Aster came in second with $1.73 billion, ahead of Leiter’s $1.53 billion.
Open interest tells a different story. HyperLiquid has $7.58 billion in open interest, more than triple Aster’s $1.98 billion. This gap suggests differences in user behavior. Hyperliquid holds more long-term funds, whereas Aster’s volume-to-OI ratio indicates faster, shorter-term trading activity.
Total value locked in Aster The total amount is $900.72 million, according to DefiLlama. $BNB The chain retains the bulk of the $662 million. Annual fees are approximately $77 million.

Aster DEX currently offers both perpetual trading $ syrup LUMIA expands its lineup of 181 symbols, including two tokens associated with different sectors of the cryptocurrency market. $ syrup LUMIA connects traders to Maple Finance’s institutional lending model, and LUMIA enables the tokenization of real-world assets through zkEVM Layer 2.
