The Stablecoin market was blown past the $300 billion milestone, but it didn’t stop there. Over the past week alone, the sector has inflated another $6.155 billion.
From Tether to Pues: Stablecoin Giants drives $32.2 billion of liquidity waves
Between September 28th and October 5th, 2025, Fiat Peg’s token economy rose by more than 2%, with another $61.555 billion worth of stubcoins entering the circulation. As of Sunday, the sector’s total value was covered by $30.2879 billion, according to Stablecoin Stats on Defilama.com.
Tether’s USDT remains the heavyweight champion, claiming that over 58% of its pie has a market capitalization of $17.701.8 billion. USDT filled the lead this week, rising to 3.77% ($2641 million), accounting for 42.91% of the overall growth of the stubcoin sector thanks to Tether’s fresh mint.

Circle’s USDC has added $1.676 billion to its stash. Now, after a tidy lift of 2.28%, I’m sitting pretty well for $7.584 billion. Ecena’s USDE continued its momentum, welcoming a new $491 million inflow and increasing its market capitalization to $1481.5 billion.
However, Sky’s Dai drifted slightly off the course. This week, the market capitalization of $5.037 billion fell by 1.70%. Sky Dollar (USDS) also did not exactly ignore gravity, resulting in a 5.85% dropping to $4.31 billion. In the global Liberty Financial section, the project’s USD1 tokens offer a hint for PEP, increasing 0.54% to $268.2 billion.
