According to on-chain data, the whale, named “0xc9d,” ended up selling a huge stash of $66.2 million in $WBTC holdings. As a result, Whale suffered a realized loss worth $14 million. This development reportedly comes after a year of $WBTC accumulation. To this end, Whale executed various trades with major crypto exchanges while preparing for a huge sale.
In the past 24 hours, up to 1.998 $WBTC was sent to Kraken from Whale’s address, totaling $140.76,000. In addition to this, the whale also transferred 0.04 $WBTC to FalconX. This equates to a value of almost $2.81,000. Interestingly, the whale also sent chunks of larger values to FalconX. In this regard, the address moved 124.999 $WBTC ($8.8 million), 300 $WBTC ($21.08 million), and 315.82 $WBTC ($22.17 million) within just a few hours.
