The UFC, the world’s leading mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, and Fightfi, behind Fight.id, a web3-enabled platform created for combat sports enthusiasts and athletes, have announced an expansion relationship. Through the ongoing creation of blockchain-powered products and experiences, the partnership is looking to improve the interaction of UFC digital fans.
Using blockchain technology, Fight.id, the official partner of UFC Strike Digital Collectibles, connects the growing Web3 user community with UFC’s global fan base. There are a variety of high-end items that range from digital identity and loyalty systems, prize pool mechanisms that allow for further combat bonuses, and fight.ID ecosystems all extend into the company’s pipeline.
A new investment round has been signed by Fight.id to support the next generation of platforms. Anthos Capital, Aptos Foundation, Aquanow Ventures, Blockchain Coinvestors, Fabric VC, Jupiter, and Memeland are among the participants at the institution. Angel investors in the entertainment and sports sectors are also part of the round. UFC Fighters Gilbert Burns, Josh Emmett, Dan Ige, Vicente Luque, Eric Nicksick, Alexandre Pantoja and Gregory Rodrigues are one of the most well-known boosters. Yat Siu, Chairman of Animoca Brands. NBA legend Baron Davis. NFL Pro Bowler Cam Jordan; Craig Kalman, Chief Music Officer of Atlantic Music Group, is among other investors.
A variety of digital products with Web3 capabilities, including digital asset ownership, programmable incentives, and improved user engagement, are developed using rounds of revenue. These products are consistent with the four major tenets of the fight.id platform.
