Cryptocurrency analysis firm Santiment shared the privacy-focused altcoin projects that developers focused on the most in the past 30 days, based on developer activity.
Santiment data shows that software development activity in privacy-focused projects remains strong regardless of market price performance.
Santiment said this ranking is based on meaningful development activity on GitHub. In particular, projects such as Dash, NYM, and HOPR are notable for increasing developer interest.
Here are the privacy-focused altcoins that received the most attention from crypto developers in the past 30 days.
- DASH – 49.6
- NYM (NYM) – 36.7
- Hop (HOPR) – 30.97
- Zcash (ZEC) – 20.7
- Decred (DCR) – 6.63
- Dusk (DUSK) – 6.53
- Monero (XMR) – 3.13
- Verge (XVG) – 3.00
- ANyONE Protocol (ANYONE) – 3.00
- Verdex (BDX) – 2.57
It is notable that ZEC and XMR, two of the most talked about privacy altcoins this year, are not at the top of the list. ZEC in particular dominated the headlines for quite a while this year due to its truly impressive rise. ZEC’s price has increased about 816% over the past year.
