Tokenized stocks showed strong momentum in March 2026, with transfer volumes hitting a new all-time high, with $2.87 billion transferred in one month, according to data from the RWA.xyz platform.
The volume of remittances has attracted attention not only for its size but also for the speed at which it is increasing. In the last 30 days Activity increased by over 80%.
Among remittances, Ondo leads the market with more than $2.02 billion, which is 70.4% of the total amount mentioned above.
In second place is xStocks, a tokenized asset launched by the Kraken exchange, with over $700 million in remittances. In third place was the Backed Finance variant with $40 million.
Emerging protocols such as Red Shark Market ($1.5 million) and Centrifuge ($2.6 million) also have much more modest numbers compared to the leaders, indicating that the market is more concentrated around the two or three major players mentioned above.
Other data showing RWA growth
Most of the tokenized assets are concentrated in Ondowith a total valuation of $500 million, followed by xStocks tokens at $243 million and regulated platform Securitize at around $60 million. These numbers reflect the valuation of assets by individual project, rather than the transactions executed during the month, as shown in the graph.
The majority of tokenized assets (56% ($15.4 billion)) are issued on the Ethereum network. BNB chain also has high demand with 12.7% ($3.5 billion) and Solana with 7.27% ($2 billion).
Tokenized stocks have shown impressive growth. As highlighted by CriptoNoticias, its market capitalization has increased by more than 800% in six months and more than nine times since September 2025, even though the price of Bitcoin (BTC) has fallen by nearly 40% during the same period.
In this direction, the New York Stock Exchange partnered with Securitize in March to develop an infrastructure that will enable continuous trading of new classes of stocks. And last month, Nasdaq was also authorized to trade digital assets, which is expected to begin in early 2027.
