Ethereum’s vision is so messy that it leaves the EVM transforming into Limbo, says a former Ethereum Foundation engineer.
Frustrated by the lack of direction and stagnation of Ethereum’s development, former solidity experts and compiler engineers claim that there is a “lack of a clear and cohesive vision” for Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum virtual machines, making the latter “impossible.”
This is why I left the Ethereum Foundation.
Ethereum and EVM lack a clear and cohesive vision, making EVM impossible.

In an X post on Friday, March 14th, Harikrishnan Mulackal, former solidity expert at the Ethereum Foundation, revealed that the confusion has led to constant disagreements about how to move forward in a state of repeated blockage.
“The problem is that everyone has different opinions on what these checkboxes should be, and each one should be, and so no one can agree to the changes. There has been one change in EVM over the past five years (temporary storage).

Less research, more products
According to Mulackal, Ethereum needs more decisive leadership. He suggested that without this improvement, the only viable path is “ossification – no further change.” He also argued that Ethereum should be faster and focused on updating shipments “less researched.” He also suggested that ecosystems should be more ambitious, saying “we have to ship one hard fork per quarter.”
He also warns that without a change in approach, Ethereum could face a dangerous future, and points out that if the network continues for the past five years, it will “produce exactly the same results.”
As Crypto.News previously reported, Ethereum appears to have been caught up in some issues recently. The Ethereum Foundation’s ongoing sales of ETH and the relatively modest price movement of cryptocurrencies could be hindering it. Meanwhile, Bitcoin and other tokens have not only reached their previous highest highs, but they also have new tokens set new ones.
