SORA Ventures joins the Consortium Advisory Committee for Diplomacy and Global Action (CDGA) at Columbia University Teachers College to support efforts to integrate Web3 and emerging technologies into global education and policy debate.
The venture has made charitable contributions to support the CDGA, which was established at the Academy of International Arts and Culture Studies and the New York office of the United Nations Training Institute.
Jason Fang, co-founder and managing partner of Sora Ventures, has also been appointed to the advisory board to provide guidance on the digital financial system and other transformational technologies.
The donation will fund research and education programs that explore Web3 and digital innovation, focusing on interdisciplinary collaboration.
The initiative is tied to broader UN priorities, including future agreements and the United Nations’ high-level advisory body on artificial intelligence.
Fang said the collaboration was designed to help policy makers, students and practitioners better understand how blockchain and decentralized systems can form international funding.
He also announced the role of digital assets in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the Glocha UN HQ NY Conference & Exhibit 2025.
