Sonic Labs, developer of the Sonic blockchain, announced Spawn, an AI-powered platform designed to transform plain language prompts into fully deployed decentralized applications.
Spawn runs on Sonic, a high-performance network capable of processing over 10,000 transactions per second with fast finality and low fees, making it suitable for real-time applications such as gaming and payments.
As the team pointed out, the platform handles the entire Web3 development workflow, including smart contract generation, compilation, on-chain deployment, and front-end creation with wallet integration. It also includes an AI assistant called Spawny that allows users to adjust contracts and interfaces through natural language commands.
According to Sonic Labs lead contributor Samuel Harcourt, Spawn seeks to address the accessibility issues that have made Web3 development out of reach for most people. Users can describe their ideas in plain English, and the platform handles the technical deployment behind the scenes.
“At Spawn, we completely remove that barrier. If you can describe your idea, you can deploy it. Whether it’s a coin toss game where players stake S tokens or an NFT collection with a public mint, all you have to do is describe your dApp in plain English and Spawn takes care of the rest,” Harcourt said.
Spawn was introduced at ETHDenver 2026 with a live demonstration of a fully playable Snake game with on-chain leaderboards from a single text prompt. The tool is scheduled for a limited early access release prior to full rollout.
