Does Solana Token LaunchPad Pump.fun drop its own token? According to the leading Crypto Exchange, the platform plans to do so later this week. However, the page detailing the $600 million sale possibility has since been raised.
According to the Crypto Exchange Gate page, it appears to have been removed after attracting considerable social media attention. Pump. Fun is preparing to offer pump tokens for sale starting July 12th.
According to the currently derated page, Pump.Fun and Gate offer 150 billion pumps in public sales. This sale offers 15% of the total supply and the pump is priced at $0.004 per token. With a total of 1 trillion tokens being supplied, its price is pounds at a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $4 billion.
Pump.fun and Gate representatives did not respond immediately Decrypt’s Request a comment.
Sales details from Gate show that they will remain open for up to 72 hours, while 150 billion tokens ($600 million) are on sale on a first-come, first-served basis.
Furthermore, the sale FAQ suggests that buyers are not subject to the pump token cap and only have minimum required purchases.
“For individual subscriptions, as long as the quota is sufficient, you only need the minimum purchase amount and there is no cap,” reads the currently deleted FAQ.
Pump.fun Token has been rumored for a long time, but in April, protocol co-founder Alon Cohen told his followers he didn’t expect to see tokens from himself, Launchpad or its employees.
Meme Coin and Token Launchpad are considered one of the most successful crypto apps of all time, generating tokens created by millions of users, driving protocol revenue worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Popular meme coins such as Fartcoin (Fartcoin) and Peanut the Sirrel (PNUT) have been created with Pump.fun, as well as other once-buzzy tokens such as Moo Deng and Chill Guy, which were created on the platform. Pump.Fun users are keen on potential airdrops that could reward early supporters with tokens.
