With this latest acquisition, Semler currently owns 5,021 BTC, worth around $5,94.8 million based on its July 23rd price. The company has so far spent $475.8 million on Bitcoin, with an average purchase price of $94,772 per BTC, resulting in a high unrealized level of nearly $119 million.
“We are witnessing the global monetization of Bitcoin as a great form of money,” said Semler Scientific Eric Semler. “The trend to adopt Bitcoin as part of the Department of Corporate Treasury has clearly accelerated. SemlerScientific is at the forefront of the movement as the second public US company to adopt the Bitcoin standard.”
Semler also disclosed a year-to-date BTC yield of 31.3%. This key performance indicator helps track the value creation of Bitcoin holdings associated with shareholder dilution and helps investors assess the impact of financing BTC purchases through stock issuance.
As part of its transparency efforts, Semler has launched a new Bitcoin dashboard on its website. The dashboard regularly updates market data on stocks and bitcoin, BTC yields, BTC gain metrics, Bitcoin purchases, and overall holdings. The company said the site serves as a critical disclosure tool under regulatory FDs and may contain important information.
The Semler’s ATM program launched in April 2025 with companies such as Barclays and Canter Fitzgerald allows the company to sell up to $500 million in shares. As of July 23, Semler had raised $193.3 million through the sale of approximately 4.93 million shares, including a transaction settled on July 24th.
