Jan3 founder Samson Mo predicts billionaire investor and Tesla CEO Elon Musk will actively enter Bitcoin in 2026.
That’s five bold Bitcoin (BTC) Mow’s 2026 prediction comes in a year when Bitcoin predictions by prominent crypto executives were off the mark.
“@elonmusk is working hard BTC” Mo said in an X post on Saturday.
Musk has long expressed support for cryptocurrencies, but he has expressed concerns about Bitcoin’s environmental risks. Tesla stopped accepting Bitcoin payments in May 2021 due to environmental concerns. The following year, in July 2022, the electric car maker revealed that it had sold 75% of its Bitcoin holdings.
Mo says Bitcoin could reach seven-digit territory by 2026
According to CoinMarketCap, Mo, who is accustomed to being optimistic about Bitcoin price targets, expects the price of Bitcoin to reach $1.33 million in 2026, which is about 1,367% from the current price of $90,596.
Moe told Magazine in June 2025 that Bitcoin could reach $1 million in 2025, or even in 2026. “(It’s) a given at this point. Maybe this year, maybe next year.”

Moe previously pointed to the introduction of nation-states as a key catalyst that could cause an exponential rise in Bitcoin prices. In September 2025, Mo said that more and more countries are preparing to expand the adoption of Bitcoin. “I think we’re at a gradual end stage, but I also think we’re at an abrupt beginning stage.”
However, he is less focused on looking back at his 2025 predictions.
On Saturday, Mo answered an X user’s question, “How many predictions for 2025 were correct?” “Let’s stop dwelling on the past,” he says.
“Never look back, just look forward,” he said.
Other executives are more conservative.
Other crypto industry executives do not expect such large gains for Bitcoin over the next 12 months.
On December 28, Bitwise CIO Matt Hogan said that while an upward trend is expected, there is nothing special. “I think we’re striving for strong returns over a 10-year period. Not great returns, but ()strong returns, lower volatility, some ups and downs.”
This follows several high-profile crypto executives whose bold predictions for the price of Bitcoin in the previous year did not come true.

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes and BitMine chairman Tom Lee predicted that Bitcoin would reach $250,000 by the end of 2025, even though it was trading at about half that level in October, after it reached an all-time high of $125,100.
Mo also predicted that Michael Saylor Strategy (MSTR) stock would reach $5,000, an increase of approximately 3,084% from the current $157.
He predicts that Bitcoin will “outperform metals” shortly after gold and silver hit record highs of $4,549 and $83 in December. He also said that “at least one country” will issue Bitcoin bonds.
