Philip DiSarro, CEO and founder of Anastasia Labs, who goes by the name “Phil” at X, said there is a lot of visible work going on in Cardano right now.
This includes announcements, announcements, discussions, and big ideas, but a healthy ecosystem also relies on the low-key work that few people look at, added the CEO of Anastasia Labs.
Cardano has a lot of visible work: announcements, announcements, discussions, big ideas. But a healthy ecosystem also relies on the unglamorous work that almost no one sees, the editing, the review cycles, the cleanup, the tweaking, and the constant attention to detail that turns one draft into the next.

This unglamorous work involves editing, review cycles, cleanup, tweaking, and constant attention to detail that turns your draft into something your community can actually build on. In light of this, he gave a shoutout to Robert Pair, a Cardano community member who has been dedicated to moving the CIP process forward.
This week Cardano made several announcements. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson revealed at a consensus event that the USDCx stablecoin will be launched on Cardano by the end of February. “We have a beautiful UX that allows you to access Coinbase or Binance directly from any wallet and back again. $USDC” Hoskinson said.
In a separate announcement, LayerZero, a multi-chain messaging protocol connecting over 160 blockchains with $200 billion in cross-chain volume, will be integrated into Cardano and its ecosystem. This is another big step for Cardano interoperability, with the integration enabling the largest cross-chain connectivity expansion in Cardano history. This is expected to pave the way for stablecoin liquidity, Bitcoin-backed assets, tokenized real-world assets, and shared DeFi infrastructure across the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Midnight mainnet launch date announced
Midnight mainnet is expected to be officially live by the end of March, while Midnight City could launch on February 26th.
Development work on Ouroboros Leios is ongoing. This will increase Cardano network capacity by 50x. The first mainnet release will increase Cardano’s speed from 10 TPS to 500 TPS, with the ability to reach 1,000 TPS expected to be unveiled in the near future.
Cardano’s perpetual protocol Strike has released V2 and Cardano futures have been launched at CME Group.
