Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced that it will support two important network upgrades.
Binance to support the migration of Kusama and Polka Dot Networks to Asset Hubs
According to an Exchange statement, Kusama (KSM) and the Polkadot (DOT) network are preparing to move to an asset hub structure.
Binance temporarily suspends deposits and withdrawals on certain dates to prevent users from experiencing inconvenience during the transition period.
Therefore, token deposits and withdrawals on Kusama Network will be suspended at 10am on October 7, 2025. The network will be migrating to Asset Hub Kusama at 8am on the same day.
Similarly, Polka Dot Network deposits and withdrawals will be suspended from 10am on November 4th, 2025. Polkadot’s transition to the Asset Hub begins at 8am on the same day.
Binance said users do not need to carry out technical steps during this process. All requirements are automatically met by replacement. It also emphasizes that token trading is not affected by these transitions, allowing users to continue trading without interruption.
Once the migration is complete and the network stability is confirmed, deposits and withdrawals of related tokens will resume. Binance said there will be no additional announcements at this time, urging users to remain vigilant.
This development is important for the long-term growth strategy of Kusama and Polkadot ecosystems as we move towards safer and scalable infrastructure.
