Binance Philanthropy on October 6, 2025 pledged to donate $150,000 to support relief and recovery efforts after monsoon floods across multiple states in India, directing funds to Goonj’s Rahat Initiative for emergency humanitarian relief.
The donation will fund essential items such as food, hygiene products, dignity kits, clean water and temporary shelter materials for displaced families in states such as Uttarakhand, Punjab, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Assam. Binance Philanthropy said the donation is aimed at alleviating immediate suffering and supporting sustainable recovery, and South Asia Regional Head of Growth and Operations Kushal Manupati highlighted the organization’s efforts to ensure aid reaches those most in need. Goonj founder Anshu Gupta highlighted the scale of the destruction and said business and humanitarian cooperation is essential for effective disaster response and delivering essential supplies to thousands of affected families.
