Ethereum It maintains key Fibonacci levels while compressing within the long-term triangle. Confirmed breakouts may submit first $ETH Heading back toward $4,865-$4,900 and later possible $8,300-$10,000.
Ethereum Triangle Breakout Could Put $4,900 Back in Play
Ethereum is compressing between a long-term upward support line and a downtrend that started near all-time highs. If the breakout is confirmed, the path to $4,900 could be reopened, followed by the chart’s more ambitious targets of $8,300 and $10,000.

$ETH 3 day chart. sauce: Ray/X
This structure resembles a large multi-year triangle, with buyers repeatedly defending the uptrend line, with each recovery forming a lower high. This range contraction suggests that Ethereum is approaching a key decision point.
The descending resistance level remains the first obstacle. $ETH Before the setup can be treated as a reliable bullish reversal, it must break above and sustain the move during a retest.
If buyers confirm the breakout, the all-time high near $4,900 will be the first major target. Above that level, Ethereum becomes subject to price discovery, increasing technical relevance for higher predictions around $8,300 and $10,000.
However, long-term support lines remain important. A continued decline below that would invalidate the triangle breakout scenario and increase the risk of a deeper correction before Ethereum attempts a further recovery.
Ethereum retests 0.618 support as $4,865 comes back into focus
Ethereum has returned to the 0.618 Fibonacci support near $1,843, a level that previously signaled the beginning of a major recovery. Holding this zone could increase the chances of a further long-term rebound.

$ETH Weekly chart. sauce: Long Investor/X
This chart compares the current settings to the May 2025 settings. $ETH It recovered from around $1,379 and then reached a previous high near $4,865. This time, Ethereum briefly fell towards $1,510 before returning to the same Fibonacci area.
A sustained recovery above $1,843 would be the first positive signal. $ETH Thereafter, the moving average resistance near $2,400-$2,900 will need to be regained before the broader structure becomes clearly bullish.
A stronger breakout could bring attention back to $4,865, followed by a Fibonacci extension around $6,089. The long-term forecast on the chart has the next major target set near $9,145.
However, historical comparisons do not guarantee the same results. A weekly close below the recent lows around $1,510 would weaken support and suggest that Ethereum’s correction is not yet complete.
