An important Shiba Inu ecosystem update has been published. $SHIB Mazrael, a veteran of the Shiba Inu community, has brought new attention to legacy domains that are no longer maintained by the project.
In a recent post, Mazrael shared a reminder to Shiba Inu users that legacy domains have been retired and that Shib.io is the primary portal to the Shiba ecosystem, ShibaSwap and Shibarium, urging them to remain safe, a slang term meaning “safe” or “secure” in the crypto market.

This information also applies to the domain of ShibTheMetaverse (a virtual world supported by the Shiba Inu ecosystem), which Mazrael shares in another X-post.
Mazrael previously shared with the Shiba Inu community that the ShibTheMetaverse domain is no longer owned or controlled by Shib Wizards and may be purchased or used by third parties.
Warnings from veterans of the Shiba Inu community remain relevant. $SHIB Users avoid interacting with websites that may misrepresent themselves as official Shiba Inu domains. $SHIB You should no longer rely on legacy domains to access official Shiba Inu services.

Mazrael acknowledges that future content on the ShibTheMetaverse domain $SHIB ecosystem.
“For security reasons, future content on that domain will be $SHIB ecosystem,” Mazrael said.
Mazrael added that when Shib: The Metaverse returns, it will be accessible through Shib.io rather than a separate additional domain.
