- Brave wallet v1.88 added $NEAR Intent. Enables cross-chain swaps across Bitcoin, Solana, Zcash, Cardano, and EVM networks.
- $NEAR Prior to this wallet integration, Intents had processed over 19 million swaps and over $14 billion in transaction volume across 35 chains.
Brave added it $NEAR Access wallets through browser version 1.88, extending cross-chain swap access for users across multiple blockchain networks. of update It enables swaps including Bitcoin, Solana, Zcash, Cardano, and EVM-compatible chains such as Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum. This feature provides users with a decentralized way to move assets between networks without relying on traditional bridges.
$NEAR Intents is Brave Wallet’s first swap provider that connects almost all blockchains already supported by the wallet. The system is built to link chains, assets, and agents through an architecture that reduces cross-chain complexity for users. $NEAR Intents has processed over 19 million swaps and an all-time record of over $14 billion across 35 chains.
Today we made a major upgrade to Brave Wallet.

The new wallet feature focuses on any-to-any chain swaps through a simplified process within your browser. This eliminates the need for manual gas handling and reduces technical steps associated with cross-chain activities. This allows users to exchange assets within the wallet interface rather than going through a separate bridge service.
Additionally, Brave noted that users can exchange transparency. $ZEC Move assets to any chain and from any chain to transparent. $ZECswap shield $ZEC Move assets to any chain and move assets from any chain to a shielded environment $ZEC. Also added refunds for shielded ones $ZEC The transaction is returned to the shielded pool.
Last year was CNF reported The wallet has added Cardano support, meaning over 100 million users now have access to other Cardano native assets such as ADA and NIGHT. This integration also enables token swaps and on-chain governance without the need for browser extensions.
Previously, $NEAR‘s 2026 roadmap prioritizes intents, AI, and widespread protocol adoption. That plan too targeted $NEAR Serving as the primary on-chain transaction venue while expanding user-owned AI tools.
brave, $NEAR Extend existing Web3 relationships
This launch is part of Brave’s broader efforts to facilitate multi-chain access within browser-based wallets. James Mudgett, VP of Web3 at Brave, said:
integration of $NEAR Intents is a major step in Brave Wallet’s mission to make moving assets between blockchains simple, secure, and most importantly, intuitive for everyone.
Alex Shevchenko, CEO of Defuse Labs, emphasized that the Brave browser provides broad access to Web3 services. $NEAR Intent integration enables cross-chain transactions to more users through a browser-based interface. This system reduces friction in multi-chain activities.
This announcement also strengthens our previous collaboration with Brave. $NEAR. Brave, November 2025 introduced With Brave Nightly’s privacy-focused AI features, $NEAR A trusted execution environment for AI. This release focused on verifiable privacy and model transparency for Brave Leo, the company’s browser-based AI assistant.
CNF reported that $NEAR In January, AI joined Nvidia’s Inception program to expand its privacy-preserving and verifiable AI infrastructure. This movement gave $NEAR AI accesses Nvidia’s GPU resources, developer tools, and technical support for enterprise-grade systems.
