The $40,000 100-piece Epic

Unlike physical mining rigs, GoMining’s digital miners represent certificates of 1,000 TH of mining power from GoMining’s existing physical mining fleet. Users can then earn rewards proportional to the digital miner’s hashing power, and BTC rewards are deposited daily into the owner’s GoMining account, minus maintenance costs such as electricity bills and equipment services.
Digital miners on the platform start at around $23 for approximately 1TH of computing power, with an estimated annual net reward of around $6.53 based on current Bitcoin prices. Based on the platform’s custom miner creation tools, the net reward for a 1,024 TH miner jumps to nearly $7,000 per year, but the miner’s costs also increase significantly.
In this case, users can get a 1,000TH digital miner along with the watch at a discount of about $10,000, according to a GoMining representative.
“The price of the package is a combination of the price of the watch and the TH power of the digital miner,” they said. Decrypt. “Although the packages cannot be sold separately, the watch has a list retail price of $30,000 and a similar TH-powered miner costs approximately $20,000.”
The Epic X GoMining package is available at Jacob & Co. showrooms in New York and Miami, the watchmaker’s website, and the GoMining Marketplace.
“As a company, we continue to bring new products to market that challenge the status quo, and this partnership provides another opportunity to do just that,” the spokesperson said. “By partnering with such a well-known and respected brand, we will be able to reach a broader audience and further mobilize crypto enthusiasts.”
This isn’t the first time Jacob has offered a Bitcoin-themed watch, nor is it its most expensive rendition. In 2022, the jeweler launched the luxurious Astronomia Solar Bitcoin timepiece, limited to just 25 pieces. Each retails for $348,000.
