Hedera was considered for this partnership because of its unwavering commitment to advancing innovation in America. According to a post published by America250, the blockchain network will support efforts toward this celebration through community engagement, storytelling, and technology-driven experiences to make “the semi-quincentennial available to all Americans.”
America 250 also plans to commemorate this anniversary with programs that promote national unity and celebrate the nation’s history. In this regard, Hedera co-founder Mance Harmon emphasized that the enterprise-class public distributed ledger network will enable more people to participate through secure digital interactions.
As U.S. Air Force veterans and engineers, Dr. Leamon Baird and I founded Hedera because we saw a gap in the market. Blockchain companies help make digital interactions secure, transparent, and verifiable. As the 250th anniversary approaches, we are pleased to partner with America250 to help more people join in the celebration.

America250 noted in a blog post that Hedera is governed by the Hedera Council. This group ensures that the long-term stability of the network is maintained through monitoring. The network also stands out for its combination of organizational governance, scalable technology, and built-in compliance.
According to America250 Chairman Rosie Rios, partnerships with blockchain platforms represent a new approach to fostering trust, transparency, and connectivity.
For generations, American innovation has shaped the world. Blockchain platforms embody that heritage through a forward-thinking approach to trust, transparency, and connectivity. Together, we will leverage technology to make the quincentenary a reality in new and engaging ways for people and communities across the country.
The council also plans to introduce a partner program for businesses and community members. This partnership enables organizations of all sizes to join the network and contribute to its success through collaboration with global leaders.
As highlighted in our previous publication, Hedera launched a Python SDK as part of its efforts to expand artificial intelligence (AI) blockchain development. And, as mentioned above, the recent integration of Stripe and Mingo has also increased real-world adoption.
