COTI-MEW Partnership Establishes Unique Milestone to Revolutionize Web3 Privacy
In partnership with COTI, we are working to integrate the privacy layer of MyEtherWallet (MEW) and multi-chain Enkrypt wallets. In particular, this technology provides lightweight and ultra-fast encryption, enabling confidential transfers on-chain without compromising performance. Additionally, with MEW’s 3 million active consumers and Enkrypt’s 200,000 users, this partnership is poised to have a significant impact.
Separately, COTI’s mainnet launch in early 2025 made MEW the earliest major cryptocurrency wallet to fully incorporate this technology. As noted by COTI CEO Schaff Bergeffen, this partnership highlights a breakthrough in the advancement of consumer-driven financial privacy. The executive also emphasized that the partnership will empower consumers while increasing blockchain transparency.
At the same time, as a notable wallet that prioritizes data protection, MyEtherWallet continues to maintain a non-custodial approach. One of the earliest and most trusted Ethereum wallets, it has built a reputation for user-focused design and reliability. Future privacy improvements will further strengthen our position as a leader in decentralized wallet innovation. At the same time, both platforms also unveiled joint development of their own UI/UX design standards to support privacy features.
Joint initiative highlights growing demand for privacy through secure transfers
According to COTI, privacy-focused tools are in high demand as blockchain adoption accelerates. The partnership between MEW and COTI therefore attempts to address key concerns of consumers, specifically addressing full visibility of wallet activity on Etherscan and other block explorers. Collectively, this collaboration reveals a powerful and unique Web3 story by showing that transparency and privacy can coexist, strengthening consumer empowerment, blockchain innovation, and secure transfers.
