Neo and SpoonOS have launched Spoon-Fed Ideas, a unique way for ecosystem members to contribute to the multi-location, multi-month Scoop AI hackathon. Spoon-Fed Ideas is an initiative aimed at connecting non-developers and builders in the Web3 and AI space. If a Spoon-Fed idea wins one of the various hackathon “bowls,” both the individual who submitted the proposal and the developer who built it will earn GAS rewards.
The campaign invites anyone to submit creative ideas for projects powered by SpoonOS by posting to X using the hashtag #SpoonFedIdeas. If you are not a developer, to participate you must share a Tweet about the idea you want built and include the corresponding hashtag in the body of the message. A representative from the Neo team will monitor hashtag activity.
Once approved by the moderators, submissions will be listed on the official campaign page where participants from all eight Scoop AI hackathon events can consider potential build ideas. Developers are encouraged to choose ideas that are innovative, feasible, and have strong support from the community. Engagement metrics like likes, replies, and reposts can help your idea stand out to potential teams.
Although developers are not required to build on the ideas submitted through the campaign, Spoon-Fed Ideas is intended to be a source of inspiration and a way to connect builders with potential early users.
SpoonOS will award non-developer contributors $150 in GAS if their idea is selected by the first-place team in the Scoop AI Hackathon event. The winning developer team will receive a $100 bonus on top of the regular prize.
Idea submissions must come from individuals who are not participating as builders in the hackathon. Attempts to submit and develop your own ideas may result in disqualification. Neo and SpoonOS reserve the right to make final decisions regarding the validity of Submissions and their eligibility to win.
