Dock Labs, a prominent decentralized identity infrastructure provider, announced new partnerships with GSMA, TMT ID, and Telefónica Tech. The partnership focuses on establishing a privacy-focused, secure, and rapid verification procedure through a decentralized and trusted digital identity mechanism. As noted in Dock Labs’ official social media announcement, this development represents a joint effort to enhance data security and user experience in telecommunications more broadly. Therefore, this move could revolutionize the way organizations authenticate users and start a new era of trust and privacy in decentralized ecosystems.
We’re excited to announce a new collaboration with @GSMA Foundry, @TelefonicaTech, and @tmtid_limited to reinvent call center authentication.

Dock Labs redefines call center validation with four-party alliance
The collaboration between Dock Labs, GSMA, TMT ID, and Telefonica Tech aims to transform call center authentication with AI-enhanced identity authentication. In this regard, this development reveals a proof of concept (PoC) that provides a reliable digital ID method for authenticating callers. Therefore, when a client arrives at a call center, an authentication request can be triggered by the agent. Users will be asked to receive a push notification asking, “Are you currently speaking with our customer support team?”
Users can then verify their identity through biometric unlock and tap “Yes”. As a result, call center agents receive verified confirmations within seconds, eliminating the need for traditional steps such as one-time passwords (OTPs) and knowledge-based questions. Each innovation has significantly reduced verification time from 90 seconds to just a few seconds.
Joint initiative strengthens trust in telecom identity authentication with decentralized solution
Dock Labs says advances in call center verification through its partnership with GSMA TMT ID and Telefonica Tech are key developments to modernize its digital identity framework to improve customer service. This mutual commitment is therefore a pivotal move in shaping the future of secure digital identity authentication across communications networks.
