According to data tracked by Lookonchain, wallets linked to FTX and Alameda Research bet 20,736 Ethereum on Wednesday, valued at around $79 million.
The move follows the withdrawal of ETH by crypto trading companies, which was deprecated earlier this year. Between December 17, 2024 and January 9, 2025, FTX and Alameda withdraw about 21,650 ETH from BIBIT.

Previously, it unlocked over 3 million Solana tokens worth around $431 million in March, marking its biggest staking event since it began selling tokens in November 2023. Following the action, around 25,000 Solana Tokens, which cost around $3.3 million, have moved to Vinance.
These assets movements occurred amid continued efforts by FTX and Alameda.
Last week, FTX and FTX Recovery Trust announced plans to distribute $1.9 billion to creditors on their third payment on September 30th. The distribution follows the court’s decision to reduce dispute claim reservations from $6.5 billion to $4.3 billion.
China’s creditors and certain other jurisdictions facing restrictions are expected to be excluded from future payments.
