Binance has confirmed it will suspend support for several privacy coins and non-AED Fiat currencies to move UAE users to Binance Fze, a Dubai-based exchange.
The migration process will begin on April 25th, 2025. From this day on, users have moved to Binance. Dubai cannot trade or hold certain privacy-centric tokens or non-AED Fiat currencies on certain platforms.
Assets removed from Binance Fze
Deprecated privacy tokens for FZE users include Dash (Dash), Decred (DCR), ZCASH (ZEC), and Monero (XMR). Many Fiat currencies are also not supported for operational reasons. These include the Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY), and Turkish Lira (try it).
The announcement points out that users can manage and convert these assets on the Global Vinance Platform until their accounts are migrated to FZE. Once a switch occurs, the affected privacy token can be withdrawn until June 8, 2025. The withdrawal of unsupported Fiat currency will halt as soon as users move to the FZE platform.
context: This is more than just a regional adjustment. This reflects the broader global trend that major exchanges are increasingly reducing support for privacy coins, meeting strict jurisdictional regulations like VARA, and pushing privacy-focused users and liquidity onto unregulated platforms.
FZE trading access and platform changes
After users migrate to FZE, some Binance features work differently. From April 25th, token and currency trading and currency trading and conversion stop. All open orders executed via trading bots and copy transactions will be cancelled by June 8th.

Futures trading for Monero, Dash and Zcash contracts will begin closing phase on FZE from June 8th. New positions are not allowed and open positions are resolved over time. Margin trading accounts will also be affected, set to close, debt will be paid back, and pending orders will be cancelled as part of the delisting process. Users are encouraged to close positions or transfer their wallets to a spot wallet before the transaction is suspended.
