Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson on Friday addressed the decision not to be invited to the White House Crypto Summit, saying it will focus on the growth and decentralization of the Cardano ecosystem rather than lobbying for government recognition.

He urged the Cardano community to focus on ecosystem development rather than on government involvement.
The summit, which combines Crypto industry figures with US government representatives, aims to discuss the regulatory framework and the future of digital assets. However, Hoskinson’s absence sparked controversy within the Crypto community.
In his response, Hoskinson reiterated his commitment to Cardano’s core principles, saying, “The most influential thing we can do as an ecosystem is to focus on our ecosystem, its growth and its competitiveness.”
Hoskinson also highlighted Cardano’s global presence and its 10-year mission to build a decentralized, comprehensive blockchain network. He announced that he plans to return to Japan, a country deeply connected to the origins of Cardano, and work with the global community to listen, learn and contribute to ecosystem progress.
